Referral Programme T&Cs

1. Who Can Take Part

1.1 To refer players, you must have registered with Courtix and joined a Courtix league yourself.

1.2 You must be 16 or over to take part and receive a reward. If you are aged 16 or 17, we require a parent or guardian's consent before issuing any reward, and the reward will be sent to the email address on your account.

1.3 Courtix staff, directors and their immediate families are not eligible.

2. What Counts as a Qualifying Referral

2.1 A referral only qualifies once all of the following have happened:

• The referred person is new to Courtix and has not previously registered with us;
• They have signed up to a Courtix league;
• They have paid their entry in full; and
• They have played their first league fixture.

2.2 A referral does not qualify at the point of sign-up, or on payment alone. All four conditions above must be met.

2.3 Where players enter as a pair, each individual who meets the conditions in 2.1 counts as one qualifying referral.

2.4 You cannot refer yourself, and you cannot refer someone who has already registered with Courtix, or who has already been referred by another player.

3. How Referrals Are Tracked

3.1 Referrals are tracked by your unique referral code. The person you invite enters it in the referral field when they sign up, whether that is in the Courtix app or on our website. Your referral link carries the same code and fills it in for them automatically; a link can only do this on our website, so if the person you are inviting is signing up in the app, give them the code itself.

3.2 It is the referred player’s responsibility to enter the code when they sign up. The sign-up form, in the app or on our website, confirms who invited them once a valid code is entered. Referrals cannot be added afterwards, so please make sure they do this at the time.

3.3 Where a referral cannot be verified against our records, it will not qualify. Our records are final in determining whether a referral qualifies.

4. Rewards

4.1 Rewards are awarded at the following levels:

4.2 Each level is awarded once. A player who reaches 10 qualifying referrals will have received two codes in total — one at 5 and one at 10.

4.3 A code gives 15% off the entry fee for one Courtix padel league or one-day event, booked with us through the Courtix app or our website. It cannot be used against anything else.

4.4 Each code may be used once only. It applies to a single entry for a single player, and is spent at the point that payment is completed. Part-used codes do not retain a remaining balance.

4.5 Codes are issued to your account and can only be used by you. A code entered on an entry belonging to another account will be refused.

4.6 Codes expire six months after they are issued. The expiry date is stated in the email containing your code. An expired code cannot be reinstated or extended.

4.7 Only one discount code may be applied to any single entry. Codes cannot be combined with each other or with any other offer.

4.8 Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable. A code is a discount on a future entry and is not a refund or reduction of any entry fee already paid.

4.9 How your reward is issued. Once your referrals have qualified, your code is emailed to you automatically, to the address registered on your Courtix account. You then enter it yourself when paying for your next entry.

4.10 It is your responsibility to keep the email address on your account up to date, and to check your junk or spam folder. We are not responsible for codes sent to an incorrect or out-of-date email address supplied by you.

4.11 If a code is used, it cannot be reissued. If you believe a code has been used without your knowledge, contact us and we will look into it.

4.12 We may withdraw or change the programme, including the reward offered, at any time. Changes will not affect codes already issued to you, which remain valid until used or expired.

5. Entry Fees and Refunds

5.1 League entry fees are non-refundable. Full details are set out in our main Terms & Conditions.

5.2 If a referred player obtains a refund in any circumstance, or withdraws before completing their first fixture, that referral will no longer qualify and may be removed from your total.

6. Fair Use

6.1 This programme is intended for genuine referrals to people you know.

6.2 We may withhold, cancel or recover rewards, and remove you from the programme, where we reasonably believe there has been:

• The creation of fake, duplicate or fraudulent accounts;
• Referrals of people who have no genuine intention of taking part;
• Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or paid advertising of your referral code;
• Any other misuse or attempt to manipulate the programme.

6.3 Where a reward has already been issued and we subsequently discover abuse, we may recover its value from you or offset it against any future reward.

6.4 Our decision in these matters is final.

7. Changes and Withdrawal

7.1 We may change, suspend or withdraw the referral programme, or amend these terms, at any time.

7.2 Where we do so, referrals that have already qualified under 2.1 before the change takes effect will still be honoured.

7.3 The version of these terms published by us, on our website or in the Courtix app, at the time of your referral is the version that applies.

8. Your Data

Personal data collected through this programme is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By referring someone, you confirm you have their permission to pass on their details where applicable.

9. General

9.1 These terms sit alongside our main Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Where there is any conflict, these referral terms apply to the referral programme only.

9.2 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
